For its beautiful architectural features and its remarkable frescoes this is one of the most important medieval complexes in Lombardy. founded in 1176 and completed in 1384 by the Benedictine Olivetan Friars. The church features numerous frescoes and an original belfry whilst nothing or almost nothing has remained of the pristine ancient monastery.
