Piani di Bobbio is the closest ski resort to Milan and the plain towns. the elevation and scheduled snow-making Bobbio ski runs are always impeccable. The diverse and steep slopes - from beginners’ slopes to the hardest slopes of Orscellera and Valtorta (on the Bergamo side of the mountain and to reach from Val Brembana) - make this resort big fun for both first-time and expert skiers. A modern gondola cableway takes skiers from Barzio to an elevation of 1,700 mt a.s.l. where five chairlifts and three ski-lifts serve the ski-slopes covering an overall area of 35 km.
