The San Martino Tower was built between 1880 and 1893. From its top you can enjoy a breathtaking view of lower Lake Garda and the Mincio river valley as far as Valeggio. Inside the tower is decorated with frescoes depicting episodes from the Renaissance. The historic Museum is located beside the Tower and houses memorabilia and relics from one of the bloodiest nattles ever fought in Italy. In the park surrounding the Tower an ossuary keeps over 2619 bones of both Italian and Austrian soldiers killed during the battle. Source: www.bresciainvetrina.it
