The Brughiera Briantea Park (Briantea Moor Park) is located in Lombardy between the provinces of Milan and Como, and covers the municipalities of Cabiate, Lentate sul Seveso, Meda, Mariano Comense, Carimate, Cermenate, Novedrate, Figino Serenza, Carugo e Brenna. The vast green areas inside the Park and their remarkable environmental features are yet hardly known maybe because they are not a usual tourist destination as they are not easily reached by the main routes. In order to promote the Park and its territory, the Park Authority has recently supported the re-qualification of the pathways across the park, running through its woods, fields and along the streams. This intervention aims at promoting the discovery of unexpected environments in the middle of a strongly anthropized area.
